Biography of Kelsey Bakken

Kelsey BakkenKelsey Bakken is a contract Research Scientist with the USDA Southeast Climate Hub.  Kelsey has a master’s degree in forestry from North Carolina State University, with her research focusing on the impacts of hickory decline due to a bark beetle and associated pathogenic fungus.  Her work with the hub includes assessing threats to southeastern forests, their current and potential impacts, and management options for dealing with those threats.
