The Alliance for Saving Threatened Forests: 2013 Symposium will be held October 29 and 30 in Asheville, NC. Research on hemlocks, firs, chestnuts, ash, and the pests that are associated with each will be the focus of this symposium. This will be an opportunity for everyone associated with these fields to come together to talk about what is currently working and what needs to be done.
