Biography of Fallon Fowler
Fallon Fowler is a contract Research Scientist with the USDA Southeast Climate Hub. Fallon has a PhD in Entomology from North Carolina State University where she researched how dung beetles affect greenhouse gases emitted from cattle dung and how this dung is incorporated into pastures. She specializes in pasture ecology, veterinary entomology, climate science, and statistical/literature analysis. Fallon’s work with the Hub will focus on how intensive cattle grazing affects rangelands across the US and which grazing strategies are most environmentally and economically friendly.
