Hail Disturbance
Available image sizes:In spring 2012, ForWarn's Forest Change Assessment Viewer revealed an area of unusual forest activity within the Asheville, NC, watershed. Eastern Threat Center ecologists visited the watershed with staff from the Asheville Water Resources Department and discovered trees damaged by a hail storm.
