Biography of Stephen Britton

Stephen Britton Stephen Britton is a contract Research Assistant with the USDA Southeast Climate Hub. Stephen holds a master's degree in Geography from Kent State University. Both his undergraduate and graduate studies centered on climatology with his graduate research focused on applying a synoptic climate classification system in Cleveland, Ohio. Professionally, Stephen has worked in a variety of roles focused on environmental compliance, and he served with a nonprofit to plan and implement sustainable aquaponics projects across east Africa. His primary responsibility with the Hub is coordinating the development of drought preparation and recovery commodity guides that will help farmers build resilience to and recover from drought.
