Biography of Susan Iott
Susan Iott is a contract Research Assistant and Updated Silvics of North America (USNAP) Coordinator with the USDA Southeast Climate Hub. Susan holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Auburn University where she also worked as a research assistant studying eutrophication in shallow lakes. After graduation, Susan worked as an environmental consultant conducting air quality permitting and compliance. She enjoys baking, reading, crafting, and spending time outdoors. Susan’s primary focus with the Hub is coordinating a revision to the Silvics of North America to reflect current forestry science, climate change impacts, and ecosystem services.
