The 4th Fire Behavior and Fuels Conference, themed "At the Crossroads: Looking Toward the Future in a Changing Environment," will take place in Raleigh, NC, February 18-22. Eastern Threat Center biological scientist Emrys Treasure and North Carolina State University research assistant Lisa Jennings will lead an interactive workshop on February 18 entitled "Fire, Fuels, and Climate: Science Resources to Keep Pace with a Changing World." Workshop participants will explore the effects of climate change on fire and fuel management using the Template for Assessing Climate Change Impacts and Management Options (TACCIMO).
