Lance, USDA APHIS PPQ, Bugwood.orgThe 21st USDA Interagency Research Forum on Invasive Species was held January 12-15, 2010 at the Loews Annapolis Hotel in Annapolis, Maryland. The agenda included keynote presentations by Dr. David Lodge (“Risk analysis for invasive species”) and Dr. Allan Carroll (“Mountain pine beetle outbreaks in British Columbia”), as well as the following general session topics: 

  • The use of molecular technologies in invasive species programs
  • Sirex noctilio program reports
  • Spread of invasive species
  • Japanese Stiltgrass and Tree of Heaven: spread, fire, and biocontrol
