Source Water Protection Award
The NC Source Water Collaborative (NCSWC) recently honored the Southern Research Station (SRS) with a Source Water Protection Award in the category of Education for “Defining and Understanding How Forests Protect Watersheds and Source Water.” From left, Eastern Threat Center research hydrologist Ge Sun, SRS project leader Jim Vose, and SRS research hydrologist Pete Caldwell accepted the award from NCSWC's Rebecca Sadosky during during the Water Resources Research Institute of the University of North Carolina System’s annual conference in Raleigh, NC (March 2017).
