Fire Lines Newsletter Features TACCIMO Ahead of International Conference

SouthernFireExchange.jpgThe September/October 2012 issue of the Southern Fire Exchange’s Fire Lines newsletter includes the Template for Assessing Climate Change Impacts and Management Options (TACCIMO) as a featured online tool. The TACCIMO feature previews a workshop scheduled during the 4th International Fire Behavior and Fuels Conference in Raleigh, NC. Eastern Threat Center biological scientist Emrys Treasure and North Carolina State University research assistant Lisa Jennings lead the interactive workshop on February 18 to familiarize participants with the TACCIMO tool through guided case studies focusing on the effects of climate change on fire and fuel management in the southern United States.
