First Friday All Climate Change Talks
National virtual discussions fill climate change information gap

JacksRiverFalls.jpgSince June 2010, the Eastern Forest Environmental Threat Assessment Center has hosted First Friday All Climate Change Talks (FFACCTs), virtual information sharing forums for research activities focused on climate change impacts to eastern forest ecosystems.  Held on the first Friday of each month, FFACCTs connects scientists and staff from the Forest Service Northern and Southern Research Stations, the Washington Office, the National Forest System, and State and Private Forestry for presentations, updates, and “round robin” discussions. The FFACCTs forums facilitate climate change information sharing among participants internal and external to the Forest Service. Archived FFACCTs presentations and discussions can be accessed at http://www.forestthreats.org/news/upcoming-events/ffaccts/index.
